At Burning Heart Productions, the stories that interest us—whether documentary or narrative—are multilayered, allowing investigation into deeper relationships between love, grief, despair, faith, courage, suffering, and transcendence. The Fair Trade documentary allowed us a rare opportunity to use the intimate capacities of film to explore the depth of an interior life, while also defining fair trade through the surface journey of entrepreneur Tamara Johnston. Through it we hope to encourage lives lived fairly and meaningfully.
